Maker Royale: MOONSHOT (6.9-6.13)

We are taking tech to the moon with this space exploration themed week of making, flying, and coding! Campers get to build and learn to program their own robotic rover, launch rockets, and  more! At the end of the week, campers leave with new friends, awesome skills, projects, and a robot too!

WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED?

Most things are provide but students will need:

    - Sack lunch each day.

    - Water bottle

    - There own transportation to and from camp.

We will provide:

    - All materials (campers keep their builds)

    - All tools

    - Computers for programming

    - Snacks

Campers are welcome (but not required) to bring:

    - Their own laptop, phone, or tablet

    - Their own computer mouse (if they prefer that over a touch pad)


Camper should NOT bring:

    -Anything that would not be allowed on a school campus

WHEN & WHERE IS IT?

Maker Royale is a day camp that takes place daily from 9am - 3pm in the Stewarts Creek Middle School STEM room (908).

   - Enter the Stewarts Creek Campus from Poplar Wood Rd.

   - The elementary school will be on the right, the high school will be on the left.  

   - Just past the elementary school is the Middle School.  

   - Turn right just past the elementary school.

   - The road will run between the elementary and middle schools.  

   - There is a parking lot on the left just beside the middle school.  

   - Turn in and go to the end of the lot.  

   - Use the building entrance there. (We will have a sign outside.)

   - It will be the second room on the left.

Maker Royale: 3D Printing Camp (6.16-20)

Launch into the growing world of 3D printing as you assemble and learn to use your own 3D printer and ways to get the most out of this amazing technology. At the end of the week, you’ll leave with a strong foundation in 3D printing and your own printer. Campers will spend the week printing amazing things and learning about how to get the most out of their 3D printer.  At the end of the week, campers take home their 3D printer and a new set of skills.
